Geneva Cornavin station at a glance
Geneva Cornavin is the main railway station of Geneva, in the heart of the city, a few minutes' walk from the lake. It is the arrival point for travellers coming by train from all over Switzerland, from France and from Italy: high-speed trains from Paris and Lyon, intercity trains from Zurich, Bern and Lausanne, EuroCity trains from Milan, and the regional Léman Express trains that link Geneva to the French towns of Haute-Savoie.
Geneva Transfer Booking meets you at Cornavin, takes your luggage and drives you to your hotel, residence or office, in Geneva or further away. We also drive you to the station for your departure, and between the station and Geneva Airport.
Why a chauffeur from the station
Cornavin is central, and some hotels are within walking distance. A private car makes the difference in other cases:
- With heavy luggage: the station's surroundings are busy, and pavements and crossings are not easy with several suitcases.
- For hotels further away: the lake hotels of Cologny, the international district, Carouge, or addresses outside the city.
- With children or elderly travellers, who should not wait for a bus or a taxi.
- Late in the evening, when the last trains arrive and taxis are in demand.
- For a connection: from the train to a ski resort, Annecy, Évian or another destination in the region.
How the pick-up works
- You book with the train number, its arrival time, the number of passengers and bags, and the destination address.
- We follow your train: if it is delayed, your chauffeur adapts.
- Meeting at the station: your chauffeur meets you at the meeting point agreed when booking, with a sign showing your name.
- Luggage: the chauffeur takes your bags and walks with you to the car, parked as close as the station area allows.
- The journey: a direct drive to your address.
The streets in front of Cornavin are busy, and stopping is short: walking a few steps with your chauffeur to the car is part of the pick-up.

From the station to the mountains
